Los Altos has gone 8-2 against Gunn recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Titans at 4:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
As a matter of fact, Los Altos put up the most runs they have all season on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over Westmont. Considering the Eagles have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Darrion Wesley and Emmett Heath did most of the damage at the plate: Wesley scored two runs while going 3-for-3, while Heath scored two runs while going 3-for-4. What's more, Heath posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Moore, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
Los Altos was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Gunn got themselves on the board against Oak Grove on Friday, but Oak Grove never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 17-0 victory. That looming 17-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Titans yet this season.
Cam Owen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Owen was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4.
In other batting news, Gunn got a massive performance out of Ryan Fitzhugh, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Sahil Saksena, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Gunn has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Los Altos, their record now sits at 9-4.
Everything went Los Altos' way against Gunn in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Los Altos made off with an 8-2 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
