The Casa Grande Gauchos entered their tilt with the Ukiah Wildcats with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Casa Grande never let Ukiah onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Saturday. Casa Grande's winning goal came courtesy of Katie Curran.
Casa Grande is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which somehow isn't as good as their 14-1-1 record this season. As for Ukiah, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Casa Grande will take on Vintage at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Casa Grande is coming into the contest with seven straight victories at home, so Vintage is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Ukiah will take on Elsie Allen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Elsie Allen's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
