The More Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Lynbrook Vikings at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. More is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
More barely beat Silver Creek the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Raiders on Wednesday. The Knights have beaten the Raiders the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Raiders has come to flipping the script.
Sean Selway was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Zep Cortese, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Andrew Corr, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Saratoga hit Lynbrook with a five-run second inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings came up short against the Falcons, falling 8-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.
More's record is now 17-9. As for Lynbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 7-19.
Lynbrook's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: More hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .313. It's a different story for Lynbrook, though, as they've only averaged .220. Will they be able to contain More's hitters?
More couldn't quite get it done against Lynbrook when the teams last played back in March as they fell 6-1. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
