The Lemoore Tigers were the 3-1 winner over the Hanford Bullpups when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. Lemoore fell 3-1 to Hanford on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that Lemoore has lost by exactly two goals.
Their goal came courtesy of
Anissa Zepeda, who's now up to seven this season.
This is the second loss in a row for Lemoore and nudges their season record down to 11-6-3. As for Hanford, their win bumped their record up to 12-6-6.
Lemoore will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Golden Valley at 6:00 p.m. Lemoore's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. Hanford is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Kingsburg at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. Kingsburg's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
