The Winters Warriors won against the Paradise Bobcats last Tuesday with 45 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Winters strolled past the Bobcats with points to spare, taking the game 45-26. Given Winters' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 445th, while the Bobcats are ranked 1073rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Winters' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordan Tucker led the charge by scoring 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maci Dodic, who scored 11 points.
Winters has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Paradise, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winters' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for Paradise, they will face off against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
