After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Chaparral was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They fell 6-1 to the Temecula Valley Golden Bears. The Pumas' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Chaparral saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Udell, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Chaparral's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 11-4. As for Temecula Valley, their record is now 9-7.
