The Jenkintown Drakes lost against the Renaissance Academy Knights back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Jenkintown fell 29-19 to Renaissance Academy.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Renaissance Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dallis Stewart, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Stewart is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Saydi Daye was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Jenkintown's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Renaissance Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.
Jenkintown will be playing in front of their home fans against Upper Bucks Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Renaissance Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Baldwin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Baldwin is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
