While losing is never fun, Chambers/Wheeler Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 213th, while Niobrara/Verdigre is ranked 68th).
Ella Moses was Chambers/Wheeler Central's leading scorer, having posted nine points.

Chambers/Wheeler Central are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.7 points per game. As for Niobrara/Verdigre, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Chambers/Wheeler Central will look to defend their home court on Thursday against St. Edward at 6:00 p.m. St. Edward comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Niobrara/Verdigre, they will head out on the road to face off against Elkhorn Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Elkhorn Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
