Missota recap September 24, 2013
Chanhassen's Raymonte Maynard rumbled for the longest rushing play in Missota this season in his game against Northfield last week. Maynard's team defeated the Raiders as he sprinted for 83 yards on the play and finished with 110 in all.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Farmington beat New Prague 19-3,. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Tigers.
Justin Arnold and Kolby Seiffert gave Chaska a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Arnold threw for 70 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Seiffert ran for 188 yards. Teammate Brandon Kraus added to the ground attack by rushing for 74 yards.
Arnold and Seiffert gave the Hawks a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week.
Seiffert provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Chaska beat Red Wing.
Maxon Hutton was the best wideout in the league this week as Chanhassen bested Northfield. Hutton racked up 2 receptions for 60 yards.
Seiffert was the best running back in Missota this week.
Arnold put up the best numbers through the air as Lambert Brown's team beat the Wingers.
Chaska's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hawks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Arnold has thrown for 393 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, while Calvin Buesgens has 12 catches for 162 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Farmington takes on second place Chaska.
The Hawks' offense has scored 160 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Farmington has allowed only 44 on the year.
