The Cornerstone Christian Cougars can now show off 17 landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They blew past California School for the Deaf 92-24 on the road. Cornerstone Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
It was another big night for Mecca Alexander, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 36 points and 0 assists. She hasn't dropped below 15 points for six straight games. Laila Alexander was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
The win (which was Cornerstone Christian's eighth in a row) raised their record to 22-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.1 points per game. As for California School for the Deaf, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.
