Boone Central's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Pierce Bluejays by a score of 10-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-2 last Saturday.

Boone Central got a massive performance out of Katelyn Curry, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Miranda McGill, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Boone Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. They are 10-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Boone Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Pierce, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

Looking ahead, Boone Central will take on St. Paul at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Pierce, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Wayne on the 16th.
