University has gone 9-1 against Urban recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Red Devils will head out to challenge the Blues at 3:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.
If University beats Urban with 11 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Red Devils didn't even let Stuart Hall on the board on Monday, marking the Red Devils' second-straight 11-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Tate Gebhart made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Urban hadn't done well against Lick-Wilmerding recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Blues had just enough and edged out the Tigers 4-3.
Like University, Urban also got a great game from a two-way player: Aaron Knupp. Throwing, Knupp tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. Meanwhile, Conor Darling tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. At the plate, Knupp went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Darling went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

University's record is now 14-8. As for Urban, their record now sits at 14-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. University has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Urban struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
University got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Urban by a conclusive 14-1 score. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blues turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
