Last Saturday, Manheim Township really took it to Boyertown for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-23 win on the road. With Manheim Township ahead 25-3 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Unionville had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.6 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came out on top against Academy Park by a score of 41-31. Given Unionville's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while Academy Park is ranked 559th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Manheim Township pushed their record up to 7-1 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Unionville, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
