Katie Busch continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last 11 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Giselle Murray, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Santa Fe Christian lost to the Cougars on the road by a decisive 57-38 margin on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Santa Fe Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 761st, while the Cougars are ranked 347th).
Tri-City Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Santa Fe Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-12.
Tri-City Christian was dealt a bruising 56-26 defeat at the hands of the Eagles in their previous meeting last Wednesday. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Santa Fe Christian's Piper Lenihan, who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
