Moorhead entered their tilt with Sheyenne on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They took down the Sheyenne Mustangs 76-61. For the Spuds, this counts as revenge for the 70-47 victory the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2016.

Moorhead's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.6 points per game. As for Sheyenne, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moorhead will take on Southwest Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Moorhead knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Southwest Christian likes a good challenge. As for Sheyenne, they will challenge Red River at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Sheyenne's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matches.
