The Quartz Hill Royals scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They breezed by The Palmdale Aerospace Academy on the road to the tune of 64-3. That 61 points margin sets a new team best for Quartz Hill this season.
Mandy Frozina was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with five assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashantee Palmer, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Quartz Hill has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for The Palmdale Aerospace Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Quartz Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastside at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastside is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for The Palmdale Aerospace Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Genevieve at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
