Another player making a difference was Greta Heath, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Newbury Park's victory was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-1. As for Oakwood, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-4.
Newbury Park will take on Oaks Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Oaks Christian is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Oakwood, they will head out on the road to face off against La Salle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully La Salle focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Thursday.
