The Flint River Academy Wildcats will head out on the road to  square off against  the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Flint River Academy will be strutting in after a  victory while Central Fellowship Christian Academy will be coming in after a  defeat.
Last Thursday, Flint River Academy made easy work of Windsor Academy  and carried off  a  9-3 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Wildcats.
 Sullivan Jones made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Jones was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing  Six bases. while going 4-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Mason Jones was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing  Two bases. while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.  Eli Phillips was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
 Flint River Academy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Windsor Academy only managed three  hits.
 Meanwhile, Central Fellowship Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They lost  13-0 to Piedmont Academy.
 Central Fellowship Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Flint River Academy, their record is now 2-0.
 Flint River Academy might still be hurting after the  15-3 loss they got from Central Fellowship Christian Academy  in their previous meeting  back in March of 2024. Can Flint River Academy avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
