After only one run in their last match, Marist made sure to put some runs up on the board against Northview on Tuesday. The War Eagles put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the War Eagles, who have now won 12 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Marist is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Northview, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-13.

Marist will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Titans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
