Grace Prep extended their winning streak to ten games thanks to a huge performance from Mj Boyd. The Lions took down the Covenant Christian Cougars 60-45 on Friday for which the team can thank Boyd, who went 9-for-14 to rack up 23 points in addition to five assists and five boards. The game was his third in a row with at least 15 points.

Tre Green was another key player, shooting 55% from the field en route to 15 points and six rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Grace Prep's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Covenant Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.

Grace Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 75-41 victory against Trinity Christian on the 6th. As for Covenant Christian, they will be playing at home against Fort Worth THESA at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Riders at the right time seeing as the Riders are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
