On Saturday, King was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to Rialto. While losing is never fun, King can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while Rialto is ranked 40th).
It was another big night for Carrington Davis, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds for Rialto. The match was Davis' sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Destiny Rabino, who scored 17 points.
King's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Rialto, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
King's road trip will continue as they head out to face Orange Vista at 4:30 p.m. on December 4th. Hopefully Orange Vista focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Thursday. As for Rialto, they will head out on the road to face off against Carter at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Carter's defense has only allowed 28.2 points per game this season, so Rialto's offense will have their work cut out for Rialto.
