Everything went Troy's way against Wellsboro on Wednesday as Troy made off with a 61-37 win. Troy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 24 points or more this season.
Troy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gloria Andrews, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and 1 assist. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Andrews has scored all season. Kailyn Sterling was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Troy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Wellsboro, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
Troy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-33 win vs. Towanda on the 9th. Wellsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
