The Providence School Stallions will challenge the Buchholz Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Providence School will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On the hitting side, Providence School got a massive performance out of Grant Sheppard, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Preston Matricardi was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Buchholz took on Forest on Monday. The Bobcats' pitchers stepped up to hand the Wildcats a 9-0 shutout. Considering the Bobcats have won ten games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Buchholz also got a great performance from Cohen Lafler as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over six innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave Lafler a new career-high.
At the plate, Kai So was a standout: he went 2-for-5 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Roen Kresak, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Providence School's record now sits at 15-8. As for Buchholz, their record is now 22-1.
Providence School took their win against Buchholz when the teams last played back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 9-1 score.
