Wyoming (Cincinnati, Ohio) last lost a regular season high school football game Oct. 23, 2015. Since that date nearly eight years ago, the Cowboys have rattled off a new state record 72 consecutive non-playoff wins.
The architect of the streak and the Wyoming program is Aaron Hancock, who has a 127-17 record since taking over as head coach in 2012. The Cowboys won the Division IV state championship in 2018 and carried a 15-0 mark into last year's title game before falling to
Glenville (Cleveland).

A 5-0 record this fall hasn't come without close calls. Wyoming beat
Ross (Hamilton) 16-12 in the season opener and slipped past
Madeira (Cincinnati) 28-20 last week.
That last loss back in 2015 came against
Reading, who is on the schedule once again next Friday and looking formidable this season. The Blue Devils are 4-1 and averaging over 40 points per game
