Grossmont never got on the board in their matchup last Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Helix on Thursday. They blew past the Highlanders 32-6. Considering the Foothillers have won eight contests by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grossmont to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marissa Farace, who threw for 181 yards and four TDs, and also rushed for 39 yards and one score. That's the most passing touchdowns Farace has posted since back in August. Gabi Thomas was Farace's top target, picking up 65 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 32 yards.

Grossmont didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Helix to a completion percentage of just 42.3%. The team can thank Skyler Glover for the heroic effort on defense: she. That defensive display was nothing new: Grossmont has limited their opponent to a lower and lower completion percentage in three consecutive matchups.

Grossmont's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.2 points over those games. As for Helix, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Grossmont wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 26-18 victory against Granite Hills on the 7th. As for Helix, they have also already played their next contest, a 35-19 defeat against Steele Canyon on the 7th.
