California High School Flag Football - Helix loses to Grossmont

The Helix Highlanders flag football team (La Mesa, CA), was topped 32-6 in Thursday's league bout with the visiting Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA)

With the win, Grossmont advances its record to 14-3 on the season. The Foothillers travel to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA) to encounter the Eagles in a Grossmont Hills bout on Tuesday, October 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Granite Hills won 33-20 in their recent league bout against Santana (Santee, CA)

The Highlanders now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Steele Canyon for a Grossmont Hills contest on Tuesday, October 7. Helix will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 21-7 league win over Santana (Santee, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 13-4.
