While losing is never fun, Milton Hershey can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 405th, while Susquehanna Township is ranked 41st).
Schuyler Coles continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Susquehanna Township, dropping a double-double on 33 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Coles has scored at least a third of Susquehanna Township's points. Ava London was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Milton Hershey's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-6. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Susquehanna Township, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milton Hershey will take on Eastern York at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Susquehanna Township, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Boiling Springs at 7:30 p.m.
