You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Cibola's strategy against Kofa on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Cibola Raiders blew the Kofa Kings out of the water with an 81-20 final score. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 31 points or more this season.

Cibola had a senior duo take command as Avianna Salcedo went 9 of 12 on her way to 19 points along with seven boards and three steals and Mariana Vega dropped a triple-double on 17 points, ten rebounds, and ten steals. Vega is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last 19 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jaida Bosch, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 steals.

Cibola has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.2 points per game. As for Kofa, they moved to 8-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
