The Uniontown Red Raiders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 70-37 victory over Ringgold on the road. That 33 points margin sets a new team best for Uniontown this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Uniontown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emily Myers, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Myers has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of A?kira Dade, who scored 18 points.
Uniontown's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Ringgold, they bumped their record down to 2-8 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
Uniontown will take on Preston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Preston presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Uniontown in their respective states (Preston is ranked 46th in West Virginia, while Uniontown is ranked 574th in Pennsylvania). As for Ringgold, they will head out on the road to take on Southmoreland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southmoreland is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
