Langley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Riverside Ram, falling 87-61. One positive for the Saxons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Riverside was led to victory by Max Lawson and Joell Basue. Lawson went 8 for 13 on his way to 21 points and four steals, while Basue dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. That's the most points Lawson has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Ridgeway, who went 7 of 15 on his way to 16 points and five rebounds.
Langley's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
