Vallejo's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jazmine Cardwell, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Veekie Head, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds.
The victory got Vallejo back to even at 1-1. As for Santa Rosa, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Vallejo will be playing in front of their home fans against Castlemont at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Santa Rosa, they will square off against Middletown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
