The Willits Wolverines's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They received a tough blow  as they fell  41-25 to Clear Lake. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Willits in their matchups with Clear Lake: they've now lost seven in a row.
 Willits' loss  came despite strong showings from  Cecily Potter and  Hazel Cooke.  Potter  scored ten points along with seven  rebounds and four  blocks, while  Cooke  scored nine points along with ten  rebounds and three  steals.  Narianny Bertolino was another key contributor,  scoring  no points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
 Willits has  been struggling recently, as they've  lost ten of their last 11 matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Clear Lake, their victory  ended a three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-12.
 Willits will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Bragg at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Fort Bragg is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a six-game streak of away losses. As for Clear Lake, they will head out on the road to  square off against  St. Helena at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. St. Helena has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7.
