Lassen picked up another tournament win  on Saturday. They walked away with  an   8-3  victory over the Golden Valley Cougars.
 Connor Kirack was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing  Two bases. while going 2-for-3. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Blake Tow, who  scored a  run and  stole  Two bases. while going 2-for-3.
 Lassen  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Golden Valley only posted  an  OBP of  .407.
The  win  got Lassen back to even at 3-3. As for Golden Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
 Coming up, Lassen will head out on the road to  challenge  Modoc  at 12:05  p.m.  on Saturday. Modoc knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Lassen likes a good challenge. As for Golden Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  match,  a  6-5  victory against Mariposa County on the 10th.
