Torrance and Redondo Union are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. Torrance will be playing at home against Redondo Union at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Redondo Union will be up against a hot Torrance team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Torrance skirted past Lakewood 6-4. That's two games straight that the Tartars have won by exactly two runs.

Torrance's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's contest. Torrance has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Redondo Union, though, as they've been averaging only 0.8 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Torrance continue to outrun the ball?
Torrance skirted past Redondo Union 3-2 in their previous meeting on March 7th. Will Torrance repeat their success, or does Redondo Union has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
