Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwest). They strolled past the Pinckney Pirates with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 64-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mounties also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Northwest's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for Pinckney, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest will host Howardsville Christian at 11:00 a.m. on December 28th. Northwest is facing Howardsville Christian at the right time seeing as Howardsville Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Pinckney, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bedford at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Bedford has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
