Jefferson has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the 10th. They lost 7-0 to the Iowa City Little Hawks on Friday. While losing is never fun, Jefferson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 131st, while Iowa City are ranked seventh).

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12-5. As for Iowa City, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-1-5 record this season.
