The Lindsay Cardinals entered their tilt with the Chavez Titans with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. Lindsay came out on top against Chavez by a score of  30-20  on Friday. This was payback for Lindsay, who suffered a  54-49  loss the last time these two teams met.
  Brianna Jara was  her usual excellent self,  dropping  a double-double on 11 points and ten  rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last three games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Melanie Navarro, who  scored six points.
 Lindsay's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Chavez, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lindsay and Summit Charter Collegiate Academy will face off  at 6:30  p.m.  on January 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Chavez and Shafter will face off  at 6:15  p.m.  on January 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Shafter will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
