The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for ThunderRidge, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming  contests. Chaparral will face off against Ralston Valley at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for ThunderRidge, they will take on Cherokee Trail at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
