After a string of three wins, the Latino College Preparatory Academy Golden Eagles's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 65-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Summit Tahoma. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Leading Summit Tahoma to victory were Michael Salazar and JJ Tucker. Salazar scored 20 points, while Tucker scored 20 points. Tucker is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 20 or more in the last five games he's played. David Pilling was another key contributor, scoring four points along with ten rebounds.
Latino College Preparatory Academy now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Summit Tahoma, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
