The Chowchilla Tribe lost against the Fowler Redcats back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Chowchilla took a serious blow against Fowler, falling 54-24.
Despite the loss, Chowchilla saw an underclassman step up: Nour Escheik scored eight points along with nine rebounds.
Chowchilla has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Fowler, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
Chowchilla will be home for the holidays to greet Woodlake on Saturday. Woodlake is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Fowler won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Madera at 5:30 p.m. on December 16th.
