Central of Coosa County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jerquesha Heard, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds, and Queen Ballard who scored eight points along with six rebounds. Ballard scored a full 26.7% of Central of Coosa County's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Isabella pushed their record up to 8-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Central of Coosa County, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
