The Chester Volcanoes will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Burney Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Chester is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
Chester suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Quincy 56-15. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Chester has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Burney had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They pulled ahead with a 37-36 photo finish over Surprise Valley. The victory was just what Burney needed coming off of a 42-22 defeat in their prior contest.
Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Burney, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
Chester didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Burney when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 42-38 victory.
