Thunder Ridge's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 50-22 loss at the hands of Sylvan-Lucas.
Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, Logan/Palco's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 59-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northern Valley. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Rhett Kats put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 28 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. That was a full 50.9% of Logan/Palco's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Morgan, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Thunder Ridge has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Logan/Palco, their loss dropped their record down to 11-3.
