The Chino Hills Huskies suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Los Osos, falling 67-31. Chino Hills has struggled against Los Osos recently, as their game on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Los Osos found their leader in underclassman Tiyana Saunders, who scored 22 points along with five steals. That's the first time this season that Saunders scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackie Polk, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Chino Hills' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-10. As for Los Osos, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
Chino Hills the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Etiwanda at 4:45 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Los Osos, they will head out on the road to take on Rancho Cucamonga at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. Rancho Cucamonga is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
