While Charleroi put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Monessen. The Charleroi Cougars blew past the Monessen Greyhounds 15-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Charleroi and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Monessen, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Charleroi will be playing at home against Ringgold at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Monessen, they will head out to challenge Uniontown at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
