Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vergennes). They blew past the Northfield Marauders, posting an 81-12 win. The Commodores have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 24 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Vergennes and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Northfield, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vergennes will welcome Mill River at 6:00 p.m. on January 10th. As for Northfield, they will face off against Twinfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
