Math Civics & Sciences' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jabriyah Gibbs led the charge by scoring 12 points along with six rebounds. Saahiya Holloman was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Despite the defeat, Girard Academic Music Program had strong showings from Laura Alfaro, who scored 11 points, and Sophia Petrone, who scored nine points. Alfaro scored a full 44% of Girard Academic Music Program's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
