It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-56, which was the final score in Ely's tilt against Cook County on Friday. If Ely were hoping to take revenge for the 0-14 loss against Cook County the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
The defeat dropped Ely's record to 2-4. Cook County added further sheen to their flawless record, now 6-0.
Ely will look to defend their home turf next week against Kelley at 7:00 PM. Cook County will be playing at home against Mountain Iron-Buhl at at 7:00 PM.
