Daniel Ramos' Big Game Leads Lamesa over Kermit
Starting off the list is Lamesa's Daniel Ramos, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Ramos threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.0 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Lamesa's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6. Ramos and Lamesa will square off against Brownfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

The second Lamesa player making an appearance here is Benito Barrioz, and for good reason. He rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Barrioz might have his next game, a home matchup with Brownfield, circled on his calendar. When Barrioz last faced the Cubs back in October of 2023, he rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns.
