Academy for Classical Education never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Northeast Raiders 12-0. Considering the Gryphons have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Academy for Classical Education has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. Northeast has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Academy for Classical Education will take on East Laurens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Laurens has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.08 runs per game on average), something Academy for Classical Education will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Northeast, they are taking a road trip to face off against Howard at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Northeast is facing Howard at the right time seeing as Howard is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
